Terms of service
About these terms
This website is operated by Sleeepeasy Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17348132, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Sleeepeasy Ltd, and "you" means the person using this site or placing an order.
These terms, together with our Privacy policy, Shipping policy, Refund policy and Legal notice, set out the basis on which we sell to you. Please read them before you order. By using this site or placing an order you agree to them.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Where anything here conflicts with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, those laws take precedence.
Who can order
You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a legally binding contract. We sell to consumers in mainland UK and Northern Ireland for personal or household use, not for commercial resale or export. If you are buying on behalf of a business, the cancellation rights below do not apply to you and separate terms can be agreed with us in writing.
You are responsible for keeping any account details you create secure, and for the accuracy of the information you give us. You may not transfer your account to anyone else.
Our products
We take care to describe and photograph our products accurately, but images are illustrative. Fabrics, finishes and colours can appear differently on different screens, and dimensions are approximate and may vary by up to 60mm. Where an exact measurement matters, please ask us before you order.
Full dimensions are given on every product page. Please check that the item will fit through your doorways, hallways, stairwells and any tight corners, not just the room it is going in.
We may change or discontinue products at any time, and may limit the quantity we sell to any one person. A change made after you have placed an order does not affect that order.
How a contract is formed
Your order is an offer to buy. We will send you an email acknowledging that we have received it, but that acknowledgement is not acceptance. The contract between us is formed when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched, and it covers only the goods named in that confirmation.
We may decline an order, or cancel it after acceptance, if the goods are unavailable, if we identify a pricing or description error, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we suspect fraud. If we do, we will tell you and refund any payment in full.
Prices and payment
The price is the one shown on the product page at the time you order, and is confirmed in your order confirmation. All prices shown are the total price you pay: nothing further is added at checkout, and standard delivery to mainland UK addresses is free.
Prices, discounts and promotions can change at any time, but a change after you have ordered does not affect your order. Where a promotional code carries its own conditions, those conditions apply alongside these terms.
If a price is obviously wrong and you could reasonably have recognised it as an error, we do not have to supply the goods at that price. We will contact you before doing anything, and you can confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it.
Payment is taken at the time of order through our payment providers. We never see or store your full card number.
Delivery
We deliver to mainland UK addresses and to Northern Ireland, free of charge. Full details of areas we cannot reach, lead times by product category, and how deliveries are arranged are in our Shipping policy, which forms part of these terms.
Delivery times are estimates. Where no date has been agreed, we will deliver within 30 days of the contract being formed, as the law requires. Goods become your responsibility once they are delivered to the address you gave us.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
You have 14 days from receiving your order to tell us you want to cancel, and a further 14 days to return the goods. You do not need to give a reason. Change-of-mind returns are at your own cost: contact us and we will arrange collection, which is £100 for a large item and deducted from your refund. If you would rather arrange the return yourself, email us and we will give you the address. We refund within 14 days of getting the goods back. Returns of faulty or damaged items are always free.
Sealed hygiene items, including mattresses, mattress toppers and pillows, can only be returned under this right if the hygiene seal is unbroken. Made-to-order items and special sizes are exempt from the change-of-mind right, and we will confirm that in writing before production begins. Neither exemption affects your rights if an item is faulty.
Our full Refund policy sets all of this out in detail and forms part of these terms.
Faulty goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the goods we supply must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If they are not, you have 30 days from delivery to reject them for a full refund. After 30 days you are entitled to a repair or replacement, and to a refund or price reduction if that does not put things right. You will never be charged for delivery, collection or redelivery of a faulty item.
Please tell us about damage or missing items within 7 days of delivery, with photographs of the item and the packaging, so we can settle a claim with the courier. Doing so helps us, but it does not limit the statutory rights above.
Our 12 month guarantee
In addition to your statutory rights, we guarantee every item for 12 months from the date of delivery against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. If a fault of that kind appears within 12 months, we will arrange a repair or a replacement at no cost to you, including collection and redelivery.
The guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear, damage caused by misuse, accident or neglect, damage caused by incorrect assembly or by an item being modified, drilled or altered after delivery, or the normal settlement of fillings and foams. It applies to the original purchaser and is not transferable.
This guarantee is in addition to, and does not affect, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — including the right to reject faulty goods within 30 days and to claim for faults present at delivery for up to six years.
Our liability
We do not limit or exclude our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of your statutory rights in relation to the goods, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Subject to that, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable, and we are not liable for business losses: we supply goods for domestic and private use, and if you use them for any commercial purpose we have no liability for lost profit, lost business or lost opportunity.
Where we install nothing and the goods are self-assembled, we are not liable for damage caused by incorrect assembly, misuse, or by an item being modified, drilled or altered after delivery.
Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by something outside our reasonable control. If such an event occurs we will contact you as soon as we can and the delivery period will be extended by the length of the delay. If the delay is substantial you may cancel and we will refund you in full for goods not delivered.

If you use, allow or cause the deployment of software that takes autonomous or semi-autonomous action on your behalf (an "Agent") to interact with this site, that Agent must identify itself as an Agent in the user agent string of every request, must not conceal that it is an Agent or mimic human interaction patterns, must not complete or circumvent CAPTCHAs or other measures intended to distinguish computers from humans, must answer truthfully when asked whether it is human, and must not circumvent any measure we use to block, limit or control automated access. We may restrict automated access by technical means.

Relationship with Shopify
This store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide this site and its services to you. Any sales and purchases you make here are made directly with Sleeepeasy Ltd. By using this site you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sale between you and Sleeepeasy Ltd, including any injury, damage or loss resulting from products purchased. If you send us reviews, suggestions or other content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, publish and display it in connection with our business. You confirm that the content is yours to give, that it is not unlawful, abusive or defamatory, and that you have disclosed any payment or incentive you received for it. We may edit or remove content at our discretion but are under no obligation to monitor it.
Errors and omissions
Occasionally information on this site may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to descriptions, prices, promotions, delivery charges or lead times. We reserve the right to correct any such error and to change or update information at any time without prior notice, including after you have submitted an order, subject to the pricing-error provisions above.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order, and changes do not apply retrospectively to orders already accepted. Please check this page before ordering again.
General
If any provision of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest remain in force. If we do not insist that you perform an obligation, or delay in enforcing our rights, that does not mean we have waived them. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our written consent; we may transfer ours, and will tell you if we do. These terms are between you and us, and no other person has any right to enforce them.
Complaints, governing law and disputes
If something has gone wrong, email info@sleeepeasy.com with your order number. We aim to acknowledge complaints within one working day and to resolve them within 14 days. If we cannot resolve it between us, you may be able to refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution provider, or to take it to the courts.
These terms and any contract formed under them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
