A floating frame sits the storage box up on wooden legs, so there is a clear line of floor beneath it. It makes the bed read lighter in a small room, and it is far easier to clean under than a divan that sits flush.

The base lifts on gas struts to open the full footprint for storage, and the matching floor-standing headboard is included rather than sold on top.
