Side Opening Ottoman Storage Divan Base

Upholstered in a linen-cotton weave, and the one to choose when the bed sits against a wall — on 2ft 6in, 3ft and 6ft it opens from the side rather than the foot, so you do not need clear floor at the end of the bed.

The base lifts on hydraulic gas struts to open the whole footprint of the bed for storage — spare duvets, a suitcase, the things that otherwise live in the loft. A platform top, so the mattress provides all the give and the base holds its shape.

Sold on its own. No mattress and no headboard — buy it if your mattress is fine and the base under it is not, or pair it with one of our floor-standing headboards.
