Two singles that zip into one bed, or separate into two. At 4500 the springs are very fine and very densely packed, and the practical effect is precision — the mattress distinguishes between your shoulder, ribs and hip rather than supporting your torso as one mass. Each spring is pocketed separately, so a partner turning over is effectively invisible on your side.

The gel foam handles the two things memory foam usually gets wrong. It contours like memory foam but disperses heat rather than holding it, so a mattress this deep and this well filled doesn't sleep warm.
